Cally Elkin, Instructor
Junior Olympic Level 2-8 team
Hey there! My name is Cally and I am super excited to be part of MGC and coaching a club team! I am originally from small town, Pendleton, Indiana and attended DeVeau’s School of Gymnastics, which is a renowned club gym that did a phenomenal job training me to become a collegiate athlete. College gymnastics was a huge accomplishment, but unfortunately I only spent 2 years on the Ball State University gymnastics team before injuries resulted in hanging up the leotard. Throughout college I worked several coaching gigs and summer camps, including FlipFest, leading up to my graduation in May 2016. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Interpersonal Relations and Women & Gender Studies. It was during my senior year when I decided to further pursue coaching while earning my master’s degree. I spent the 2016-2017 season living in Baltimore, MD as the volunteer coach for Towson University’s gymnastics team while I attended graduate school online through the University of Denver in their Masters in Sports Coaching program. After a year in Baltimore I decided to make the transition from college back to club and currently find myself here in New Hampshire. I am continuing my graduate school education and couldn’t be happier to use my gymnastics background and education to raise standards in the coaching field all while working with incredible athletes. Thanks to my family for supporting and assisting me throughout my moves and travels, as well as Ginger for providing this wonderful opportunity to coach at MGC.

Marissa Patnode (Riss), Office, Instructor
Office, XCel Coach and Class Teacher
Hi There! My name is Marissa and I have been teaching gymnastics for almost 15 years. When I was younger, I started helping out with parent and tot and preschool classes and have since coached just about everything. The past 8 years I have focused mostly on teaching recreational classes and Xcel team, as well as, helping out on the office side of things. Right now, you will mostly find me behind the desk, or popping into classes and teams as needed.
Working at MGC has been a dream come true for me. It is an amazing thing to be a part of something from the very start and to watch it grow. I love getting to know each and every child who walks through the door and to see their excitement for a sport that is so near and dear to my heart. I live in Rindge, NH with my husband and two beautiful daughters, Oaklynn and Waylynn. Hoping at least one of them loves being at this gym just as much as I do!

Future Stars, Xcel Bronze, Beginner and Intermediate
Hey, I am Courtney. I teach beginner, intermediate and pre-team gymnastics. As a prior owner of a gym and mom of a gymnast, I have been in the gymnastics community for many years. I love teaching enthusiastic kids who enjoy being active and having fun at the same time. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my three beautiful daughters. I love cooking and drawing and appreciate my own personal time to work out. I own a cute little village store in my hometown, so I dedicate much of my time there and really love the community and the nuances of small town living.
